Wait for Me

Hammer 6, 1490 DR      On the way to the academy we stopped at the Temple of the Seldarine. Bella left an offering to her god and I bought a talisman from another, Vandria: The Lady of Grief. At the academy we snuck into the head office and found the names and potential whereabouts of the others I was looking for: Lia Sinara- Feywild Soveliss Edelwood- Outreach Program Enialis Hastios - Currently a Professor at Kexith Academy To our surprise my...um...ex(?).. past fling(?).. entered inside and caught us. We convinced her and she let us off with a warning. Jasmyne is apparently a teacher now and told us one of the Elves I'm looking for, Enialis, is going to evaluate her class tomorrow and that we could meet him then.      Since we had the rest of the day unplanned I went with Poppy to my mothers grave. I left some flowers and cleaned her tombstone up a bit. As night arrived I took Poppy to the Sacred Oak, the oldest tree on Evermeet. I confessed my lo...

Return of the Prodigal Daughter

Hammer 5, 1490 DR      The journey to Evermeet took 7 weeks and about 3,000 miles. It was long and sailing through icy waters was a new experience. We celebrated the new year and the gang stopped off to hunt some seal's at one point. Eventually we made it towards all the traps the ocean has for those who try to enter Evermeet. Luckily Corwinna is great at sailing and Poppy found us a sea elf to help guide us so we snuck in just fine, not to mention finally stepping onto Leuthilspar. Home sweet home I guess.       I gave them a small tour of the place until we made it to my dads home. He was happy to see me and fascinated by the others. A lot of those living here have only seen and heard of the other races in books. We're going to spend the night and plan to head to the academy in the morning.

The Hunt is On

Uktar 22, 1489 DR            I confronted the others about them helping me find the others who killed my mother. Surprisingly they agreed to help, which I'm grateful for. I don't think I could do this without them. We're going to Neverwinter to buy a few things and then we'll head off for my home town on Evermeet.

Tying Up Loose Strings

3 Uktar, 1489 DR      Some mage from Candlekeep have us a map of the location to the Myrkul cults location. We made our way to the Mere of Dead Men and found the entrance under one of the lakes. We fought undead until we found the head cultist. We snuck up behind him and drowned him. It wasn't the prettiest death but it got the job done.

Finishing the Job

2 Uktar, 1489 DR      In our time off I was able to finally buy a building in Neverwinter: Fennel's Fancies. I did it. Mom and dad would be proud. Togar built his house, Corwinna fixed up her ship as well as got engaged to Kaleb. I'm happy for them. As for Poppy and I, she asked me on a date. So that'll be fun, I think. We also got a letter from Lord Neverember asking us to finish off the cult leader of Myrkul. I'm ready for the challenge. I want my hint from Lathander.

A Dragons Promise

22 Marpenoth, 1489 DR     We fought off zombies, saved one of the town council members from a bone claw, met up with Teldon and went to stop some Talos cultists. There we found Corwinna's sons and of course, Talos himself, who decided to take matters into his own hands. I don't care for the gods but seeing how useless I was, how useless we all were, was an eye opener. Talos almost kidnapped Allister but thankfully Togar was able to stop him. We've stopped Talos' avatar for now.     We continued to the tower and found the possessed green dragon. The Swords of Leilon were fighting it off as we entered into it's mind thanks to Poppy. We made our way into the dream plane and found the dragons mins, fighting and killing the dracholitch, Ebondeath, before returning to the material plane. The green dragon was freed, crashing into a nearby building. We debated wether to finish her off or spare her life but were convinced by Poppy to spare her. With the last of the dra...

Ebondeath

21 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      We all slept in before heading to the tower in town. Apparently Gallio had solved the wizards notes and recreated the planar beacon in hopes of capturing creatures from it to use to defend the town from attacks. In the end it was a lie and he just wanted to get some rune stone in the plane that we could now access. The ghosts that Poppy had been seeing around town suddenly appeared before us to stop Gallio. The ghosts introduced themselves as Augusta Krul (Human) and Ogri Ninebeards (Dwarf). They were apart of a group called "The Swords of Leilon" and had died protecting the town from the wizard Thalivar, who first made the planar beacon. We listened to their wishes and destroyed the beacon before meeting up with Crowley and learning about the information he found while at the library. The necromancer was hard to search on and the only info was their favorite flower, Pickerelweed. Poppy and I knew this flower was found in swamps so we all...

Neverwinter

20 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      Without any leads on the necromancer we decided to go to Neverwinter to petition Lord Neverember to send troops to Leilon for aid incase of a dragon attack. Thankfully Kaleb was able to convince Neverember to help by being a kissass. After, we ran into Corwinna's son, Lucen,  who was apparently working for the general of the Neverwinter army, who also happened to be Togar's dad. We hung out a bit and got drunk at some popular tavern named the Beached Leviathan. Bella also got some info from some Tebaxi and forced Togar to go with her to watch and tale the guy.      I'm pretty sure I passed out 'cause I woke up on the dirty street floor with a horrible headache. We said our goodbyes to Lucen and made our way onto the ship and out to sea. It was cold but quiet on the ship when suddenly a storm hit and Talos cultists attacked us from their ship. Luckily I was able to hit them with a few of my fire bolts before a gigantic ...

Dragon Deals

19 Marpenoth, 1489 DR     With everything prepared, we made out way to the Kryptgarden Forest. It smelt of acidic gas as Poppy tracked down the Green Dragons lair. Entering, we stumbled upon some glowing green moss (which i took), freed some hungry Owl Bears, and had them eat the druids that captured them. We kept walking until we made it to the dragon. Togar let us know that this dragon was very old, most likely meaning it was an ancient dragon. That's not good. We may have survived the adult White Dragon but this was a whole 'nother level.      Apparently some guy working for Myrkul had been sending undead to attack her. She was going to destroy Leilon to get some answers but we convinced her that we'd kill the Myrkul guy if she left Leilon alone. She agreed, which is great 'cause this could be the guy I'm looking for.

Bronze Dragon Shrine

17 Marpenoth, 1489 DR     Poppy woke us up because she had some dream. I guess she was told to head to the Inn for a quest, so we did. We made our way to this Bronze Dragon Shrine and saved the dragon from a demon. We saw a premonition of a Green Dragon attacking Leilon and our friends dying. We warned Teldon and Amber before getting preparations ready to head out to find the Green Dragon.

The Wedding

16 Marpenoth, 1498 DR      Just got ready for the wedding with everyone. We all look pretty good but I won't lie, Poppy looks very beautiful as well. I'm thinking about expressing my feelings to her today as well. I want her to know that I want her by my side for as long as she'll have me.

Clarity

15 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      I've finally thought everything over. Just because Varis and a few others killed my mother, that changes nothing. I'm still going to create the cure and still going to try to help Lethander in order to gain knowledge of ingredients I'm missing. Once that's settled I plan to go back to Evermeet to learn who else was involved in my mother's death. From there, I don't know. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. For now, I'm just going to help the others. I've apologized Kaleb and Bella for my actions, thanked everyone, and I honestly feel just a bit better.      Apparently Togar got the deed to a house in Leilon after some quests. We're heading off to see it now.

The Plan

12 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      Bella gathered us all together with some circus people at the tavern. We made our plan for dealing with Gary, the circus ringmaster, but to be honest I remembered something mid conversation. I believe I've met this guy before. I'm pretty sure he was a council member of the Academy. The issue is my guy's name is Varis Grayor, a High Elf (not a Wood Elf) and he used magic. The ring master stated that no one used magic in his circus. Either way, we're going to confront him. Let's see what information we can squeeze out of him.

Thunder Cliffs

11 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      Corwinna, Kaleb and Allister stormed into my house this morning. Apparently she had received a letter from one of her other sons about a different son, named Crowley, being a part of the cult of Talos. Using the map we got from Aya's back we were able to pin point a cult base in the area. We took Corwinna's ship to a location called the Thunder Cliffs and made our way inside. We ran into some hags before learning Crowley had already left on some ship called the Dreadnaught. We eventually made out way back to Leilon, did some last minute clothes shopping for the wedding, and left to rest for the night.

Circus Games

10 Marpenoth, 1489 DR Woke up to crowds of people freaking out over a large storm out in the distance. We figured it was Talos' doing so we went to investigate. Sure enough we learned the Wayside Inn had a cult infiltration and we barely survived. All I could do was heal but thankfully that was enough. We located the Talos cults hideout and debated on infiltrating it but figured we'd go after Aya and Teldon's group outing at the circus.  Arriving back in Leilon, we met up with the couple and played a few carnival games. It was nice to get to relax after the horrible time at that inn. Once the circus was about to start we hurried  inside, ran into Corwina's son, Allister, and took our seats. I had never seen a circus performance before so it was quite amusing. After the show, we went back stage and met some of the crew. Aya and Teldon had a blast trying to learn how to juggle but Bella seemed obviously uncomfortable, especially when the ring master arrived. That guy se...

Lathander's Mission

9 Marpenoth, 1489 DR Went separate ways this morning as I headed into the Lathander Shrine. After seeing Bella bring Corwina back from the dead I felt useless, like everything I've worked for up till now was a waste. I hoped to have Lathander reveal even a small hint of what I should add for the cure and wasn't pleased with what I learned. Lathander would reveal one ingredient if I killed a cult leader of his rival Myrkal. Apparently Talos and Myrkal are at war because they both want to rule the coastal towns under Lathanders rule. I also learned that my mothers death wasn't a freak accident. She was murdered. By who, I don't know. but I still haven't completely processed it. Who would want my mother dead? Is that why the school didn't save her? Not because they couldn't, but because they wouldn't? Anyway, going to look for some missing soldiers near the Mere of Dead Men. At least it'll distract me from thinking about everything. ---------------- I...

Found Fathers

8 Marpenoth, 1489 DR Breakfast was interrupted by loud caravans entering the town. Poppy reminded us that the farmers market was today and we all decided to check it out. It was my first farmers market so Poppy decided to show me the ropes. We visited lots of stalls and I bought a bobble head and a flower from the Feywilds. The rest of the group bought some grab bags and of course Bella ended up with an item that almost destroyed the town. She blew into a purple worm whistle and summoned a purple worm. Poppy got eaten as we fought to save her. After we defeated the worm, Poppy was scarred for life as we finished up our shopping. We headed to the large tower in the middle of town to help out with one of the quests we found on the board in the tavern. Apparently guards had spotted a ghost in the tower and a man named Gallio wants it gone. We searched through the tower and books were flung at us, whispers in our ear, our reflections aging as we walked over dirty puddles. Let's just ...

Family Ties

7 Marpenoth, 1489 DR Finally reached Leilon at the crack of dawn only to find a group of people huddled outside the towns' walls. We overheard talk of a cult attack and two children missing. Apparently the Dwarf we met back in Phandalin, Amber (Poppy's adventuring companion), had already headed into town to look for the kids. Poppy hurried in after her but not before we were attacked by cultists of Talos. We defeated them and hurried inside, finding Amber and the two kids. Poppy sent the kids out of the town on horseback while Amber went to go look for Aya (Kaleb's cousin) and Teldon (other adventuring companion of Poppy's). The rest of us went to fight the cultists down by the docks. We were able to kill the Tiefling lady but not before she summoned some water creatures to devour citizens chained to rocks. They were tough as they almost drowned most of us to death and killed one of the townsfolk, but we finally defeated them. Gonna take a rest before meeting up with ...

Nothing Changed

6 Marpenoth, 1489 DR The day passed without event, allowing me to work on potion making. As the sun set we wandered upon and inn being attacked by zombies. We hurried to help as wraiths appeared, joining the zombies. As we fought, one of the wraiths attacked Corwina, killing her instantly. I couldn't believe it. I watched her limp body lie on the dirt road as I froze in place. The thought of my own mothers death filled my mind. I'm a doctor and there was nothing I could do to save her! What was the point of all my studies if I can't actually help people!? I'm still useless! Luckily Bella was able to bring her back to life as we finished off the bad guys. The rest of the night was spent dinning at the Inn before heading off to Leilon.

Off to Leilon

5 Marpenoth, 1489DR Went shopping in town with Poppy. She sold a few things and I bought another healers kit. As we made our way back to my place we could see huge goats set to pasture around my house. A Gnome named Pinchwit was on her way to Leilon and asked for us to be her goats' body guards. We agreed and hurried over to help fill her cart up with supplies. As we did, two separate groups of enemies appeared and attacked us. We finished them off and got  some glasses out of it. Apparently if you have a certain map and look at it with the glasses on you can see the locations the Cult of Talos is at. After all that we set off to the town of Leilon. Fought some wyverns along the way (excited to make poisons from their tails) and we're now gonna camp for the night.

The Dragon of Icespire Peak

4 Marpenoth, 1489 DR Woke up and headed off but of course the dragon was above Togar's place. It froze Corwina and me from the waist down. Freaking stupid dragon. The group, thankfully, was able to unfreeze us before we continued up the mountain to the Icespire Peak. We traveled through the harsh, snowy mountain until we reached a small building. Entering, Poppy and Bella calmed the horses we startled before Poppy started asking them about the dragon, but apparently all the neighing alarmed the owners. We all hid in the horse stalls as someones footsteps walked closer. The person noticed Corwina and Kaleb but luckily Kaleb was able to talk his way out of a fight. We made our way across a stone bridge and into the next building. We didn't find much but a couple dead bodies before heading up some stairs that led to the roof. That's when I saw the dragon. After some battle prep we went in for the kill. I remember the dragon's breath hitting me and then everything went bl...

Cave Sweet Cave

3 Marpenoth, 1489 DR      Once Corwina was awake I told her everything my fairy reported back. There was a huge storm at the lighthouse, Tower of Storms, as it was called. Her ship was still out at sea but my fairy couldn't get close enough to find her son, Allister. We needed to check out the situation for ourselves so I figured we could use the teleportation device my tree has. Poppy and my fairies used their magic and we teleported to the coast line. We hurried to the lighthouse, making friends with a giant crab, fighting off harpies, Kaleb getting blasted with a lightning bolt that left a permanent scar on his chest, defeating a Half Orc, finding an alter dedicated to Talos, stabbing a giant heart, and stopping the storm.      We rode the crab out to sunken ships as Poppy, Kaleb and Corwina went in to find treasure. They found a couple items before we headed over to Corwina's ship, meeting her lively crew. They made us all do a keg stand and I do...
