In Waterdeep, we handed over the Dwarf to some guards around the council building when all of a sudden Rain noticed someone hiding in an ally way. She morphed into a rat and snuck up on the person. The stranger was a Tabaxi who apparently knew of us, especially Rain. He wanted to talk to Rain so they headed off to the nearest port tavern. The rest of us decided to follow behind at a distance.

Eventually Rain told us that the Tabaxi named Four Winds was actually a part of her tribe when she was just a kitten (she was too young to remember). Four wanted her help in freeing some Tabaxi slaves in the area so we decided to stay at an Inn nearby and rest for the day.

In the morning we received a letter being summoned to another Council meeting. As we had a few hours to kill, I decided to walk along the cliff side with Cwl. The others eventually found me and I decided to tell them everything. All about my tribe, the coming of age ceremony, my choice on making a pact with Cwl, and my necklace.

I just wanted them to be aware of why those devils chased us and that it's possible more could be after us. My groups safety is whats most important to me. After story time, we headed to the council building. I stopped Rain to ask her if she'd be okay taking on the burden of my necklace if...if I didn't survive our journey for some reason. The necklace could not fall into the wrong hands. Rain agreed.

We entered the council building and the faction leaders greeted us. They continued to talk about our last mission of saving Maccath from her frozen prison and capturing Varram the White. We met a Silver Dragon (in human form) who invited us to a council meeting of her own with the Metallic Dragons.

The factions gave us another quest as well: Go to the Misty Forest to learn about a dragon in the area that may be working with a Wearer of Purple.

I sat by Dire as Luna came over to talk to us. She was excited to finally meet a Silver Dragon and really wanted to convince the Dragon Council to work with us. Luna went to talk to the others and I noticed her and Rain seemed to be deep in conversation. Wouldn't surprise me if Rain was against talking to the dragons since she hates them.

After what seemed like forever, everyone agreed to go with the Silver Dragon (Elia). She changed back into her dragon form and we climbed onto her back before she flew us into the sky.

13 Alturiak 1489 DR Today we decided to do some shopping. Catscratch went off on his own to who knows where while Luna and I visited the Shrine of Luck. Luna gave a coin in hopes for some good luck. The Book Thief (Part 2)

22 Eleint 1489 DR We finally met up with the head librarian and he told us about some of his staff missing. He told us to check the archives since that's where the two were suppose to be on duty today. The archives were huge but we found the area. We were too late once we noticed the dead body hunched over a table with piles of books. We did notice two of the books that were stolen were now open on the table with pages ripped out about the Pool of Radiance. Suddenly, a shockwave and rumble rang through out the archives as all the book cases toppled over. A hole was blown into a wall and we went to investigate. We found a room with old, burnt, books and were attacked by shadows. Luna was downed quickly while the rest of us finished them off. With Luna back on her feet, we hurried through another hole in the wall and ended up in the sewers. Luna caused these giant centipedes to fall asleep as we snuck by. Fairy Dust

30 Alturiak 1489 DR We've finally reached Red Larch. I was pretty familiar with the area since it's so close to the city of Yartar and, well, my ruins. We decided to help out some guy by killing wolves for pelts. As we entered the Krypt Garden Forest, we ran into a small pixie named Quill and his hedgehog steed Spike. This pixie wanted us to help him find a magical well that apparently heals any mounds. His wings were broken so he was hoping to get them fixed. We agreed to help in the morning as Quill lead us to the fairy trees. Small houses hung from branches. This was my first time ever seeing fairies before and never knew if they truly existed or not. I did barter for a rune stone. Pretty sure I got fire. Time to camp out. Guess I have first watch. In the morning we headed off deeper into the forest.
