The Misty Forest

 26 Ches 1490 DR

Arriving back in Waterdeep, we were greeted by a festival. Apparently today was Fey Day and the city was in celebration of the Fey Wilds' rift being weakened and as close to the material plane as possible. We ran into Four the Tabaxi and he showed us around. We bought some masks and a bottle of green, sparkly wine. He also told us a little about his tribe and how his sister was sacrificed to their god. We all wondered if telling Rain would be a good idea or not.

Not long after, a wolf appeared with a letter for us. Winterhound wanted to give us some extra information that he didn't want the other faction leaders to know of just yet. The wolf guided us out of the city and to a small campsite. We talked with Winterhound and he explained how he believes the Wearer of Purple that attacked the Elven villages in the Misty Forest is the illegitimate second son of the Elf King, King Melandrach.

We decided to head out immediately and in a weeks time we arrived at the Misty Forest. We found the Elven Village, Altand, in ruin as we asked the remaining villagers what happened. Apparently a Green Dragon attacked from the trees as the cultists attacked from the forest floor.

With a little investigating (and a dream from Bahamut) we freed a crow from a cage who was actually a Druid. The Druid had been locked up by the new leader of the village for knowing he was working with the Wearer of Purple who was responsible for attacking the village.

The Druid led us through the forest and to the cult hideout that was hidden behind a water fall. We fought our way through and finally found Neronvain and a Green Dragon. With strategy and helpful thinking, we were able to kill the dragon and take Neronvain as a hostage. We brought him back to Waterdeep and had him locked up. He can deal with his daddy issues behind bars.
